Kindly ensure to implement guidelines, these are very important to reduce fraud rate. We already have plenty of anti-fraud measures but your app is the first line of defence.

All the publishers will have to mandatorily ensure follows things:-

  • Only one publisher account is allowed. Opening multiple publisher accounts without prior approval will be suspended.
  • All the end-users must have registered account with verified email / mobile in your app.
  • Try to prevent your end-users from creating more than one account.
  • Must pass unique identifier per user in the offerwall / tracking link as "uid={uid}" parameter.
  • Must capture IP & Country of the end-users in your app.
  • Must have Suspicious / Activity detection system in your app. [e.g: check for change in end-user's country]
  • Must have VPN / Proxy detection system in your app.
  • Must have Bot / Emulator detection system in your app.
  • Must have Disposable / Temporary Email detection system in your app.

Note: We strongly recommend to send limited traffic and get it checked by our technical team before sending all your traffic in full.

In case of Offer API or Android / iOS App placement following additional responsibilities are applicable:-

  • Must pass unique identifier of your publisher/affiliate/placement/adslot/adunit in the tracking link as "pub_id={pub_id}" parameter.
  • Must pass unique identifier per user device in the tracking link as "gaid={gaid}" parameter for android traffic or "idfa={idfa}" parameter for ios traffic.

Note: If in case you are not able to implement any of these guidelines, please reach out to support and explain the reason behind that, depending upon your explanation, we may exempt you from that particular requirement.

[Recommended] Tips for Fraud Protection / Audience Quality Improvements:-

  • The top recommendation is to implement some form of 3rd party fraud prevention against VPN usage, bot traffic, and questionable IP sources.
  • A human-verification step in your registration process, such as a Captcha test and/or mobile phone two-factor authentication, will also help in preventing bot activity.
  • Implement our reversals webhook so you can take immediate action on a reversal and CPIDroid bans. [coming soon]
  • Verify a trusted user base and limit access to the CPIDroid service to only those users
  • Stricter user bans for multiple user IDs from the same IP and known VPN IPs.
  • Detect callback speed - are the same users completing surveys repeatedly less than one minute apart?
  • Implement IP tracking and monitor for switching while engaged in offers.
  • Review your traffic sources. How are users finding your site and can you verify or segment users from external sourcing partners you use to monitor for reversal rates?
  • Conduct manual reviews of user accounts periodically.
  • Delay user rewards until that user is verified to be a good user. New users that earn a lot of content in a short period of time may be fraudulent.
  • You can monitor your reversals percentage in your dashboard and download reversal details from the Exports. This is the same information that you will receive in the Reversal Webhook. [coming soon]
DISCLAIMER: In violation of above guidelines or if fraud rate is high, publisher / placement may be suspended without prior notice.
